Worked examples use sample data, not your account. Reference screenshots show the current app controls in a Windows preview; their example amounts may differ from this lesson. Android system prompts vary by device.

Step 1

Increase a limit

  1. Review before saving once
  2. Use Cancel to leave changes unsaved
  3. Check the saved category afterwards

Increase Pet care to two thousand five hundred and save the existing category once.

The verified allocation becomes five thousand five hundred; saved income remains ten thousand.

Step 2

Reduce the limit

  1. Review before saving once
  2. Use Cancel to leave changes unsaved
  3. Check the saved category afterwards

Reduce Pet care to five hundred when your plan changes.

The verified allocation falls to three thousand five hundred without deleting a purchase.

Step 3

Clear an optional limit

  1. Review before saving once
  2. Use Cancel to leave changes unsaved
  3. Check the saved category afterwards

Clear the optional Pet care limit and save.

Only the three-thousand Groceries limit remains allocated; history is unchanged.

Step 4

Missing-budget refusal

  1. Record income before setting a limit
  2. Read the actual refusal
  3. Do not create fictional income

A spending limit is refused when this month's budget is missing.

Record real income first, or leave the optional limit blank.

Step 5

Check an over-allocated plan

  1. Check the verified saved state
  2. Read the highlighted value
  3. Setup is separate from money movement

A plan allocating fourteen thousand from ten thousand produces a four-thousand warning.

Adjust limits or record missing real income; targets are not extra cash.
