Set up Debt, You owe, an opening balance and repayment target.
Find it:Categories > Edit or Add category

Step 1
Create a Debt category
Open the category editor
Check name, icon and purpose
Keep the same category when editing
Name the borrowing category and choose Debt.
Money you owe is tracked separately from expense-category spending limits.
Step 2
Choose You owe and monthly plan
Read the setup field
Enter your own agreed amount
A target is not a transaction
Choose You owe and use the ordinary Monthly repayment mode without interest.
Enter the outstanding opening balance and a realistic repayment target.
Step 3
Check the debt group
Check the verified saved state
Read the highlighted value
Setup is separate from money movement
The verified category appears in My loans and debts with its outstanding balance.
A repayment target does not save a payment or reset unpaid debt every month.
