Step 1

Find Spending type

  1. Find Spending type
  2. Use saved spending labels
  3. Summary remains all-spending

Spending type offers Both, Essential and Non-Essential.

These labels come from saved transactions.

They are not automatic guesses about what you needed.

Step 2

Read Essential detail

  1. Read Essential detail
  2. Use saved spending labels
  3. Summary remains all-spending

Select Essential to read the relevant expense categories.

The sample essential detail totals sixteen thousand eight hundred rupees.

This filter also affects relevant budgets and trends.

Step 3

Read Non-Essential detail

  1. Read Non-Essential detail
  2. Use saved spending labels
  3. Summary remains all-spending

Select Non-Essential for the other saved spending labels.

The sample detail totals sixteen thousand rupees.

Together, the two details match the all-spending expense total.

Step 4

Summary stays all-spending

  1. Summary stays all-spending
  2. Use saved spending labels
  3. Summary remains all-spending

Income, Expenses and Net in Summary still include all spending.

The sample Expenses remain thirty-two thousand eight hundred rupees.

Do not expect every total to change with the detail filter.
