Step 1

Find Savings activity

  1. Find Savings activity
  2. Read deposits less withdrawals
  3. Activity is not lifetime balance

Savings activity is selected-period activity.

Deposits increase it and withdrawals reduce it.

This is not automatically the full lifetime savings balance.

Step 2

Include relevant transfer legs

  1. Include relevant transfer legs
  2. Read deposits less withdrawals
  3. Activity is not lifetime balance

A transfer into the savings category contributes to its activity.

A transfer out reduces that category's activity.

The same transfer is not ordinary expense spending.

Step 3

Read the sample net movement

  1. Read the sample net movement
  2. Read deposits less withdrawals
  3. Activity is not lifetime balance

Our saved deposit, withdrawal and transfer produce four hundred rupees of net activity.

The category's older opening amount is separate.

Category setup alone deposits no money.

Step 4

Do not confuse activity and balance

  1. Do not confuse activity and balance
  2. Read deposits less withdrawals
  3. Activity is not lifetime balance

Carry-forward progress can show six thousand four hundred rupees saved.

This month's contribution remains four hundred.

Neither display is bank-confirmed cash.
