Worked examples use sample data, not your account. Reference screenshots show the current app controls in a Windows preview; their example amounts may differ from this lesson. Android system prompts vary by device.

Step 1

Open Budget

  1. Open Budget
  2. Approaching 90%; reached 100%
  3. Limits do not create payments

Tap Budget to return to the current month of the disclosed sample clock.

Time-frame chips are hidden on that tab.

It is not a historical budget-period selector.

Step 2

Compare spending with a limit

  1. Compare spending with a limit
  2. Approaching 90%; reached 100%
  3. Limits do not create payments

Spending budgets compare saved spending with category limits.

The progress bar is a ratio, not bank cash remaining.

A limit does not add income or create a payment.

Step 3

Understand warning thresholds

  1. Understand warning thresholds
  2. Approaching 90%; reached 100%
  3. Limits do not create payments

Approaching limit starts at ninety percent.

Limit reached starts at one hundred percent.

Values below ninety percent do not receive the approaching warning.

Step 4

Review recorded detail

  1. Review recorded detail
  2. Approaching 90%; reached 100%
  3. Limits do not create payments

The sample Utilities limit is approaching, while Entertainment reaches its limit.

Check the saved period and spending labels behind those amounts.

Reports itself does not change them.
