Step 1
Record a payment that happened
- Choose the correct expense category
- Enter the actual amount and date
- This sample is an entertainment payment
Start with a payment that actually happened and select the appropriate transaction type and category.
This sample is a five-hundred-rupee entertainment subscription payment, not a new merchant signup.
Step 2
Mark the Subscription checkbox
- Use Mark this transaction as a subscription
- Keep a recognizable note
- Future payments are not automatically saved
Tick Mark this transaction as a subscription and keep a recognizable payment note.
The flag supports recurring tracking; it does not subscribe you to the merchant, arrange a bank debit or save every future payment automatically.
Step 3
Keep subscription and reminder separate
- A reminder is an optional alert
- It has its own access requirement
- Expense does not show Transfer's name field
A reminder is a separate optional alert with its own access requirement.
An ordinary Expense does not show the optional subscription-name field that belongs to the Transfer section. Do not look for that field here.
Step 4
Review and save once
- Check the final summary
- Use Save, or Cancel to leave it unsaved
- Complete an offered access unlock
Read the You're adding summary before recording this paid subscription. Check the amount, category and date.
Tap Save once. If the manual-saving access offer appears, use a completed reward or regular Premium access; AI Premium and cloud consent are separate.
Cancel leaves the form unsaved. Pennie records transactions; it does not send money through your bank.
Step 5
Check the saved transaction
- Open Transactions
- Check the recorded amount and details
- Do not enter the same movement twice
Check the saved entertainment payment.
Its verified transaction retains the subscription flag and Music plan payment note.
Keep checking and recording actual future payments rather than assuming this checkbox paid or saved them.
