Step 1
Choose Transfer
- Select Transfer
- Choose a Savings source
- Select a different destination
Choose Transfer and select a Savings category as the source.
The destination must be a different Savings or Debt category; you cannot transfer a category to itself.
Step 2
Check both categories and the amount
- Savings Pot to Goal Fund in this sample
- Amount: one thousand
- Use the actual movement date
This example records one thousand moving from Savings Pot to Goal Fund.
Check both categories, the actual amount and date. Pennie records a movement you made; it does not move the money through your bank.
Step 3
Add an identifying note
- Note: Savings goal transfer
- Subscription naming is optional
- Do not duplicate each leg manually
Use a recognizable note such as Savings goal transfer.
Do not manually add a second entry for the other leg: the transfer service handles the paired tracked movements together.
Step 4
Review and save once
- Check the final summary
- Use Save, or Cancel to leave it unsaved
- Complete an offered access unlock
Read the You're adding summary before recording this transfer. Check the amount, category and date.
Tap Save once. If the manual-saving access offer appears, use a completed reward or regular Premium access; AI Premium and cloud consent are separate.
Cancel leaves the form unsaved. Pennie records transactions; it does not send money through your bank.
Step 5
Check the saved transaction
- Open Transactions
- Check the recorded amount and details
- Do not enter the same movement twice
Check the saved transfer and its destination.
The verified sample decreases the source from ten thousand to nine thousand and increases the destination from ten thousand to eleven thousand.
Both legs are saved together without turning the transfer into ordinary income or expense.
