Worked examples use sample data, not your account. Reference screenshots show the current app controls in a Windows preview; their example amounts may differ from this lesson. Android system prompts vary by device.

Step 1

Create the card's debt tracker

  1. Open the category editor
  2. Check name, icon and purpose
  3. Keep the same category when editing

Choose Debt for Credit card; a card is not an extra category purpose.

Enter your own card name and keep You owe selected.

Step 2

Enable Credit card

  1. Read the setup field
  2. Enter your own agreed amount
  3. A target is not a transaction

Turn Credit card on to use the separate card grouping.

Set a suitable repayment target; this does not make a card payment.

Step 3

Use agreed compound terms

  1. Select the agreed calculation and cadence
  2. Check principal and annual rate
  3. Use the actual tracking terms

The example explicitly chooses Compound and an illustrative twenty-seven percent annual rate.

Your issuer's rates, fees and compounding may differ; check the agreement and statements.

Step 4

Check separate card presentation

  1. Check the verified saved state
  2. Read the highlighted value
  3. Setup is separate from money movement

The verified card appears in Credit cards with its tracked outstanding balance.

Accrued interest is not a new purchase, a payment, or a universal card charge.
