Use Exclude from Dashboard totals on a Savings or Debt category when appropriate.
The switch affects aggregate presentation, not an expense-category limit.
Step 2
Exclude without deleting

Enter your own agreed amount
A target is not a transaction
Turn exclusion on and save the existing category.
The category and both saved transactions remain; no bank account is cancelled.

Keep the tracker available
Check the verified saved state
Read the highlighted value
Setup is separate from money movement
The verified saved category remains available in Categories while aggregate summaries honour exclusion.
Exclusion is different from disabling future use or deleting an unused category.
