Step 1
Find Learned notification categories
- Open Track Finance Notifications
- Read the learned-category card
In Track Finance Notifications, find Learned notification categories.
This example has three stored patterns and two already handled notifications.
Step 2
The count is not an accuracy score
- The summary counts stored preference rows
- Saved-note evidence is separate
This summary counts stored notification-category preference rows.
It is not a classifier accuracy score, and it does not count all the evidence in your saved transaction notes.
Step 3
View the actual Learned Categories dialog
- Tap View learned categories
- Read the example purpose and sub-category
View learned categories opens this real dialog, not a separate patterns page.
Demo Cafe points to Dining, with Coffee as its sub-category and three recorded uses.
Step 4
Usage and recency order the list
- Up to twelve stored patterns are shown
- Close the list with OK
The dialog shows up to twelve patterns, ordered first by usage and then by recency.
Use OK to close the list. Seeing a stored pattern does not guarantee that every future message receives that category.
Step 5
Reset asks before clearing patterns
- Read the reset confirmation
- Reset is not deleting your ledger
Reset learned categories opens a confirmation before anything is cleared.
The message says existing transactions stay unchanged. Read it before choosing Reset or Cancel.
Step 6
Cancel keeps the stored patterns
- Cancel stops the operation
- The three-pattern summary remains
Cancel closes the confirmation without deleting the stored patterns.
The same three-pattern summary remains, and the saved ledger and captured notifications are unchanged.
Step 7
Confirmed reset clears this pattern table
- Only isolated synthetic data is reset here
- The summary now reports no stored patterns
In this isolated example, confirming Reset removes the three preference rows.
The actual page now reports no stored patterns. No real user database is opened.
Step 8
An empty list is not an empty ledger
- View learned categories explains the empty table
- Saved notes still provide classification evidence
An empty pattern table shows this No learned notification category patterns message.
Saved transactions and their notes remain. Saved-note evidence can still support local classification after this reset.
Step 9
Correct saved details, not only a pattern count
- Check category and sub-category when saving
- Reset does not erase all AI information
Keep the category and sub-category correct when you save or edit a transaction.
Resetting this compatibility pattern table does not erase your saved evidence or every AI cache.
