Step 1
Find the separate delete-all action
- Open Settings > Data Transfer
- Find Delete all Pennie Drive backups
In Settings, Data Transfer, find Delete all Pennie Drive backups. This is a separate action from age-based cleanup.
It needs regular paid Premium and access to the intended Google account. this worked example uses only an isolated synthetic Drive catalog.
Step 2
Read the permanent-deletion scope
- Check the Google account before proceeding
- Newest and useful recovery backups are included
Read Delete all Pennie backups carefully. It permanently deletes every Pennie backup in this Google account, including the newest.
The useful full recovery snapshot is not protected here either. This is not the thirty- or sixty-day cleanup safeguard.
Step 3
Drive backups and device data are separate
- Local device data is not deleted
- Keep a recovery copy when needed
The confirmation states that this device's data is not deleted. It does not delete unrelated Drive documents or your Pennie account.
Afterward, you cannot restore from those deleted Drive backups. If you need a recovery copy, export a genuine local encrypted backup first; an Excel report is not a full backup.
Step 4
Cancel is the safe choice while unsure
- Use Cancel if the account or scope is wrong
- No backup deletion starts on cancellation
Use Cancel if you are not certain about the account, scope or recovery copy. No backup deletion starts from this cancellation.
Cancel returns you to Data Transfer. It does not confirm deletion, sign out of Google or switch off a future backup schedule.
Step 5
Delete all is an explicit destructive choice
- Confirm only after reading the whole warning
- Wait for the actual result
Choose Delete all only when you intend to remove every Pennie Drive backup in that account, then wait for the result.
Our actual service deletes only five virtual catalog entries. No real Google request or Drive deletion occurs in this demonstration.
Step 6
Read Backups deleted before continuing
- Check the reported deletion count
- Use OK and inspect refreshed storage
Backups deleted reports five Pennie backups removed in this isolated example. The newest and useful recovery snapshots are both included.
Use OK, then inspect refreshed storage. The real post-confirmation code reads no remaining backups in our virtual catalog, while every local transaction stays unchanged.
Step 7
An error can mean only some were deleted
- Read Deletion incomplete
- Refresh storage before retrying
Deletion incomplete warns that some backups may already have been deleted. The action is not an all-or-nothing rollback.
Our example removes the first virtual backup, then fails on the second. Use OK and refresh storage before retrying; do not assume the newest still exists.
Step 8
Deletion is not a backup-schedule switch
- Keep a verified recovery copy
- Review Auto Backup separately when necessary
Deleting stored backups does not itself turn Auto Backup off. Review that separate setting if you also want to change future backup behavior.
Keep the recovery copy you intended to preserve. Local export, Drive backup deletion, Pennie account deletion and cloud AI-data deletion are different actions.
