Worked examples use sample data, not your account. Reference screenshots show the current app controls in a Windows preview; their example amounts may differ from this lesson. Android system prompts vary by device.

Step 1

An empty result is not lost data

  1. Check the month
  2. Look at the search text
  3. Check Date and type filters

An empty view can simply mean the active filters do not match any saved transaction.

Check the selected month, search text, Date restriction and transaction-type filter before assuming a payment disappeared.

Step 2

Broaden the scope deliberately

  1. Clear unnecessary search text
  2. Clear Date if appropriate
  3. Choose All for all flow types

Clear unnecessary search text and the Date restriction, then choose All when you need all transaction types.

All clears only the flow filter; it is not a universal reset.

Step 3

Use the explicit Refresh button

  1. Tap Refresh
  2. Wait for the list to reload
  3. There is no pull-to-refresh workflow

Use the explicit Refresh button to reload the saved list.

this worked example does not tell you to pull down to refresh, because this page uses its Refresh button.

Step 4

Pending is not saved

  1. Check pending notification review
  2. Approve and save only if correct
  3. Do not manually duplicate a saved entry

A captured notification waiting for review is not yet a saved transaction.

Review and save it if correct, then check Transactions again. Refresh alone does not approve pending notifications or turn them into expenses.
