Step 1
Choose Budget
- Budget is the form's income label
- Use a compatible Income category
- Example: thirty thousand salary
Choose Budget when recording income such as salary or a reimbursement.
Use a compatible Income category. This example records thirty thousand rupees for October salary.
Step 2
Check currency and receipt date
- Enter the real amount received
- Use the actual date
- This is not a monthly replacement setting
Enter the real amount received in the displayed currency and use its actual transaction date.
A Budget transaction adds income to the month; it does not replace an earlier monthly amount.
Step 3
Keep a recognizable note
- Use October salary for this sample
- Subscription and reminders are optional
- Do not repeat the same receipt
Use a recognizable note such as October salary.
Do not record the same salary twice simply to adjust a monthly target; another save would add another income entry.
Step 4
Review and save once
- Check the final summary
- Use Save, or Cancel to leave it unsaved
- Complete an offered access unlock
Read the You're adding summary before recording this income receipt. Check the amount, category and date.
Tap Save once. If the manual-saving access offer appears, use a completed reward or regular Premium access; AI Premium and cloud consent are separate.
Cancel leaves the form unsaved. Pennie records transactions; it does not send money through your bank.
Step 5
Check the saved transaction
- Open Transactions
- Check the recorded amount and details
- Do not enter the same movement twice
Check the Budget row in the correct month after saving.
The verified example contains one thirty-thousand-rupee income transaction, not an automatic bank transfer.
Correct an existing entry through Edit instead of adding a duplicate.
