Step 1
Read the currency symbol
- Check the current base currency
- This sample uses Indian rupees
- The form is not a conversion tool
Check the displayed currency symbol before entering an amount; this sample uses Indian rupees.
The ordinary form does not independently change the app's base currency or convert foreign-currency spending.
Step 2
Enter the real amount
- Use the actual transaction amount
- Check digits and decimal places
- Correct mistakes before saving
Enter the actual amount and check the digits carefully.
This example uses five hundred. Do not copy the sample amount into your own transaction or assume a prefilled notification amount is always correct.
Step 3
Use the actual transaction date
- Check Date
- Use when the movement happened
- Historical interest has separate rules
Use Date for when the transaction actually happened, not simply the day you entered it.
Interest-bearing Savings and Debt changes have special historical restrictions; ordinary expense history does not inherit that thirty-day rule.
Step 4
Review and save once
- Check the final summary
- Use Save, or Cancel to leave it unsaved
- Complete an offered access unlock
Read the You're adding summary before recording this expense. Check the amount, category and date.
Tap Save once. If the manual-saving access offer appears, use a completed reward or regular Premium access; AI Premium and cloud consent are separate.
Cancel leaves the form unsaved. Pennie records transactions; it does not send money through your bank.
Step 5
Check the saved transaction
- Open Transactions
- Check the recorded amount and details
- Do not enter the same movement twice
Check that the saved row belongs to the intended date group and amount.
The verified sample retains its five-hundred-rupee amount and third-of-October date.
If a saved amount is wrong, edit the existing entry instead of adding another copy.
