Worked examples use sample data, not your account. Reference screenshots show the current app controls in a Windows preview; their example amounts may differ from this lesson. Android system prompts vary by device.

Step 1

Choose Savings and Credit

  1. Select Savings
  2. Choose Credit for a contribution
  3. Select your tracked savings category

Choose Savings and select Credit when adding money to a tracked savings category.

Choose the correct goal or savings bucket, not an ordinary Expense category.

Step 2

Record the real contribution

  1. Example contribution: two thousand
  2. Use the actual date
  3. This is separate from expense totals

Record the real contribution amount and date; here we add two thousand rupees.

This savings movement is tracked separately and does not become an ordinary purchase in expense totals.

Step 3

Add a recognizable note

  1. Note: Monthly saving
  2. Do not repeat an already tracked contribution
  3. This does not send money

Use a useful note such as Monthly saving.

Pennie records the movement you actually made; it does not transfer money through a bank or fund the goal for you.

Step 4

Review and save once

  1. Check the final summary
  2. Use Save, or Cancel to leave it unsaved
  3. Complete an offered access unlock

Read the You're adding summary before recording this savings contribution. Check the amount, category and date.

Tap Save once. If the manual-saving access offer appears, use a completed reward or regular Premium access; AI Premium and cloud consent are separate.

Cancel leaves the form unsaved. Pennie records transactions; it does not send money through your bank.

Step 5

Check the saved transaction

  1. Open Transactions
  2. Check the recorded amount and details
  3. Do not enter the same movement twice

Check the saved Savings Pot contribution.

With ten thousand already tracked, this verified two-thousand contribution produces a twelve-thousand balance.

Do not record the same contribution again as ordinary spending unless it is genuinely a different movement.
