Step 1
Choose Savings and Debit
- Select Savings
- Choose Debit for a withdrawal
- Use the source savings category
Choose Savings and select Debit when withdrawing from a tracked savings category.
Choose the category the money came from. This records a withdrawal, not an automatic bank instruction.
Step 2
Check amount and date
- Example withdrawal: one thousand
- Use when you withdrew it
- Do not use Credit by mistake
Enter the actual withdrawal amount and date; the sample uses one thousand rupees.
Check that Debit is selected, because Credit would increase the tracked savings instead.
Step 3
Keep the purpose recognizable
- Note: Savings withdrawal
- Spending is a separate real event
- Avoid duplicated records
Keep a recognizable note such as Savings withdrawal.
If you later spend the money, record that actual purchase separately and avoid recording the withdrawal twice.
Step 4
Review and save once
- Check the final summary
- Use Save, or Cancel to leave it unsaved
- Complete an offered access unlock
Read the You're adding summary before recording this savings withdrawal. Check the amount, category and date.
Tap Save once. If the manual-saving access offer appears, use a completed reward or regular Premium access; AI Premium and cloud consent are separate.
Cancel leaves the form unsaved. Pennie records transactions; it does not send money through your bank.
Step 5
Check the saved transaction
- Open Transactions
- Check the recorded amount and details
- Do not enter the same movement twice
Check the saved withdrawal in Transactions.
The verified example takes one thousand from a ten-thousand tracked balance, leaving nine thousand.
Savings movements remain separate from ordinary monthly spending.
