Step 1
Choose Debt, Loan and You-owe
- Select Debt and Loan
- Choose a You-owe debt category
- Do not use a category for money lent
Choose Debt and Loan when recording borrowed money, then select a You-owe category.
The sample Personal Loan is money you owe; it is not a receivable from someone else.
Step 2
Enter actual additional borrowing
- Example: two thousand additional funding
- Check amount and date
- Read the category explanation
Here we record two thousand rupees of additional borrowing on a debt with twelve thousand already tracked.
Check the amount and date and read the category explanation before saving.
Step 3
Understand the principal question
- Record starting principal means the initial amount
- Additional funding means new money
- Cancel if the choice is unclear
If Pennie asks about a configured starting principal, Record starting principal represents that initial principal once.
Additional funding means genuinely new borrowed money beyond it. Choosing the wrong option can double the principal; Cancel if unsure.
Step 4
Review and save once
- Check the final summary
- Use Save, or Cancel to leave it unsaved
- Complete an offered access unlock
Read the You're adding summary before recording this borrowing. Check the amount, category and date.
Tap Save once. If the manual-saving access offer appears, use a completed reward or regular Premium access; AI Premium and cloud consent are separate.
Cancel leaves the form unsaved. Pennie records transactions; it does not send money through your bank.
Step 5
Check the saved transaction
- Open Transactions
- Check the recorded amount and details
- Do not enter the same movement twice
Check the saved Personal Loan movement.
This verified additional two thousand raises the tracked debt from twelve thousand to fourteen thousand.
It records money borrowed, not an ordinary purchase or a payment made by Pennie.
