Step 1
Choose Debt, Loan and Owe-you
- Select Debt and Loan
- Choose the borrower's Owe-you category
- This is money they owe you
Choose Debt and Loan when you lend money, using an Owe-you category for that borrower.
Ravi Loan in this example is a receivable: Ravi owes you, not the other way round.
Step 2
Record real additional lending
- Example: two thousand lent
- Use the actual lending date
- Do not record principal twice
Record the amount you actually lent and its date; here it is two thousand of additional lending.
If starting-principal choices appear, distinguish the initial configured principal from genuinely additional lending.
Step 3
Keep a borrower-specific note
- Note: Money lent to Ravi
- Interest setup is a separate guide
- Accrual is not a collection
Keep a clear note such as Money lent to Ravi.
Use the dedicated money-lent interest guide for interest setup. Accrued interest is not cash you have already collected.
Step 4
Review and save once
- Check the final summary
- Use Save, or Cancel to leave it unsaved
- Complete an offered access unlock
Read the You're adding summary before recording this lending. Check the amount, category and date.
Tap Save once. If the manual-saving access offer appears, use a completed reward or regular Premium access; AI Premium and cloud consent are separate.
Cancel leaves the form unsaved. Pennie records transactions; it does not send money through your bank.
Step 5
Check the saved transaction
- Open Transactions
- Check the recorded amount and details
- Do not enter the same movement twice
Check the saved Ravi Loan movement.
Adding this verified two thousand to twelve thousand already owed produces a fourteen-thousand receivable.
Pennie tracks the lending; it does not send money to the borrower.
