Worked examples use sample data, not your account. Reference screenshots show the current app controls in a Windows preview; their example amounts may differ from this lesson. Android system prompts vary by device.

Step 1

Choose the agreed cadence

  1. Open Accrual cadence
  2. Daily, Monthly, Quarterly or Yearly
  3. Follow your actual agreement

The real cadence picker offers Daily, Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly.

Cadence is when tracked interest posts; it is not a payment schedule sent to your bank.

Step 2

Convert years and months

  1. Use the Yr or Mo selector
  2. Review the converted duration
  3. Do not silently change tenure

The real years and months selector converts the duration rather than creating another term.

Review the converted value and use a duration aligned with your selected cadence.

Step 3

Reject misaligned tenure

  1. Select a valid aligned duration
  2. Read the real validation
  3. Keep storage unchanged

An incompatible Quarterly tenure is rejected by the real validation.

Use a whole supported interval; Cancel or correct the draft before saving.

Step 4

Reject a future start

  1. Set an actual tracking start
  2. Do not post future interest
  3. Keep transaction rules separate

A future tracking start date is refused by the actual editor's date control.

Category start-date setup is not the separate thirty-day backdating rule for historical transactions.
