Step 1

Find Spending breakdown

  1. Scroll down the Dashboard
  2. Find Spending breakdown
  3. This chart uses saved monthly expenses

Scroll down to Spending breakdown.

This chart groups your saved expenses for the current month by category.

It is a quick answer to where your recorded spending went, not a chart of income or account balances.

Step 2

Match slices to the legend

  1. Match the color and category name
  2. Use the legend amounts
  3. Do not judge by the 3D shape alone

Match each colored slice to the category legend below it.

The raised visual effect makes the chart easier to distinguish, but use the written amount and percentage for a precise comparison.

The color links the slice to its category.

Step 3

Read the largest category

  1. Groceries: INR 6,000
  2. Half of INR 12,000 total spending
  3. 50% means share of expenses

Our sample Groceries category is six thousand rupees out of twelve thousand of expenses, so it represents fifty percent.

That percentage is a share of recorded expenses, not a share of your income, savings target or available bank balance.

Step 4

Compare categories, not labels alone

  1. Dining: INR 3,000
  2. Transport: INR 2,000
  3. Utilities: INR 1,000

Compare the written category totals to see which expenses matter most.

Here Dining is three thousand, Transport two thousand and Utilities one thousand.

Rounded percentages may not always add perfectly to one hundred; the amounts are the useful financial values.

Step 5

Inspect a surprising category

  1. Open View Expenses
  2. Check category, date and duplicates
  3. Use View Reports for detailed analysis

If a category seems unusually large, open View Expenses to inspect the saved records, or View Reports for more detail.

Check the category and date before making a conclusion.

The chart cannot fix a missing or incorrectly saved transaction by itself.
